Dear Dr. Braun,
After four weeks I'm doing very well - feeling great and having
almost no discomfort apart from the inevitable sensation of
tightness. The incisions have healed perfectly and those around my
ears are practically invisible - despite my very short haircut!
I'm delighted with my new look, and it's getting better every day.
Vin jokes to friends that he's got a girlfriend - but they're not
fooled. Most of them want to know all the details and see all the
photos - lots of new potential patients, as if you actually needed
more.

Dear Saul,
Six months on, I'm feeling fantastic and looking like a 50+ with a happy
face - not an ageing basset hound! Everyone has reacted positively - I made
no secret of it - and people who don't know generally remark that I am
looking very well. The scars are invisible but I've learnt my lesson - no
more toasting on the beach - I love big hats!
We'll be in SA again this November and I'll stop by - NOT to discuss
surgery but the incredible birds in the Camargue near to us.
